The human energy field takes on an egg-like (or cocoon) shape around the body.
Spiritual healers can discern that it comprises a number of layers blending together
in a magical way. Generally the energy becomes faster and finer as it moves
further away from the body!

When seen together, as one rainbow mix of swirling light, the luminous auricfield of
a spiritually advanced person will merge into the pure, clear white Light of Spirit
(written with a capital L, to distinguish it from light in the visible spectrum).

THE AURA'S SEVEN LAYERS!

these start with the Layer (Energy Body) closest to the physical body.

Name of layer

1  Ethnic Body ( or lower etheric)                               =  Red
 
2  Emotional Body (lower emotional aspect)                =  Orange

3  Mental Body (lower mental aspect)                         =  Yellow

4  Higher Mental Body                                               =  Green
This 'body' is withing the 'astral plane'

5  Spiritual Body (etheric template)                             =  Turquoise

6  Causal Body (celestial body)                                   =  Deep blue

7  Ketheric Body/True Self (higher mental aspect)          =  Violet
These three 'bodies' are within the spiritual plane

Auric qualites

Etheric Body

This is associated with touch/feeling. If this level is strong, you will have a healthy body
and enjoy all the pleasures of your five senses (taste, touch, sight, sound and smell).

Emotional Body

This is either light and bright or swirling with dirty clouds of energy. Negative issues, such
as unresolved emotional 'baggage', can stagnate here; conversely, if you feel happy at a
core level, your first and second energy bodies will display clear, bright colours.

Mental Body

This is concerned with mental concepts in the rational world. It pulsates at a very fine
level when you have an active, lively mind.

Higher Mental Body

This is where our aura's merge and interact with other people, plants, animals,
surroundings and the cosmos. Here we feel the love of relationships, since it is strongly
associated with the Heart Chakra.

Spiritual Body

This is associated with Divine Will and acts as an etheric template for the first level
(Etheric Body).

Casual Body

This is where we experience the spirit worldd, its influence and what is 'causes' in our
lives.

Ketheric Body

This links us to Divine Mind, our higher truth, our super-consciousness.
