Why the World needs Physical Mediumship right now!

Dear Editor,

Just after WWII something happened which made me remember, very forcibly, a prediction my mother told me about when I was in my early teens. This was well before the war. It was not her own prediction but something she knew about. Where the information came from I do not know. However, what triggered my memory was the formation of the new state of Israel.

She had said that I should watch out for some signs because they would herald the end of the civilisation we know.

These were:

The first would be a return of the Jews to their ancient homeland.

There would be a huge and escalating level of violence.

3


There would be wars and rumours of wars.

4


There would be a rapid increase in the number of earthquakes.

Then finally a revelation would be given about the true nature of the world: what it all meant.

I do not need to point anything out for items 1 to 3 so I will go straight to item 4. I had the impression for some years that earthquakes must be on the increase. An article of Michael W. Mandeville amply confirmed this subjective assessment. It was entitled, "The Chandler Wobble". This appeared in Nexus Vol.9 No.5 June July 2002 pp 49-54.. This showed a graph of earthquake events of magnitude greater than 2.5. In 1973 there were 4,500, in 1990 these had more than doubled to 10,300 in only 17 years and by 1998 there were 17,000 such events -a further increase of 7,000 in only 8 years.

Clearly earthquakes are not only increasing: they are increasing at an ever-accelerating rate!

Now the fifth prediction is of very special interest to me because the true nature of reality is something on which I have been working for the last 15 years. What has emerged is a totally different picture from that painted by our established physicists who say that almost an infinite number of universes must have created themselves accidentally. Each has different laws of physics so that by chance just one emerged so fine tuned that life could evolve. This is the one we observe since we could not exist in any other. It is called "The Anthropic Principle". I do not think many readers of PN will give such a concept much credence.

The solution appearing from my own investigation shows that a basic level of reality exists having a structure with similarities to the neural networks of our brains. This seems to have the potential to evolve intelligence and certainly provides a power-house everywhere producing waves. It seems that this background intelligence so organises waves, its vibrations, that the matter of our universe appears. The matter we observe is not true reality at all but now appears as a deliberately contrived reality: more in the nature of the virtual realities we view on computer screens. True reality lies in the invisible.

All appears from a zero energy state but this cannot necessarily be claimed as nothing. It cannot be proved that an even more remote and totally inaccessible something could also pervade the universe. So the idea of a God existing as well cannot be discounted.

But now I come to the reason for writing this article. I fear that a time of great trauma may well be approaching so that we need to do something to ease the pain. Most Spiritualists know that parallel universes exist to which our minds attune just as readily as they do to Earth-matter. We know that when we depart this life we re-emerge without destruction into a new environment. We are privileged to have this insight because most people on Earth do not. It is therefore important that our knowledge be communicated as widely and as quickly as possible to everyone on Earth.

The most convincing proof available is given by materialisation mediumship. What we desperately need right now is for one of these gifted people to step forward to prove life goes on. Professors Peter Wadhams and Brian Josephson (Nobel Laueate) both physicists at Cambridge University (who rebel against the closed mindedness of their colleagues) give our movement support. They have promised to report on such a study. This will prove beyond doubt to everyone that we have immortal souls. We do know that such mediums are giving hope to a selected few. Will they please step forward to help everybody else -and incidentally help other religions revise and revive?
